Why People Don’t Heal

Recently I have had the odd experience where a client did not feel better after having a session. This rarely happens and when it does, it bothers me as much as it may bother the client.

I decided to access my own inner wisdom to see why some people heal and some do not.

What my inner wisdom showed me was that the healing that is received from the Higher Self or even directly from the Light of Source itself can manifest but cannot be sustained because the healing that can manifest cannot be greater than a person’s self concept of themselves. So, if they are used to being sick, it is harder for them to believe they can be fully healed. If they could truly have faith in the healing and they are willing to change their concept of themselves, then the healing they receive in session can be permanent.

In the case where clients feels physical discomfort during or after the session, it must be because their physical vibration is denser than the frequency of healing. This creates a dissonance in vibration between the physical body and the healing that is being offered. Sometimes the healing takes a period of time to manifest and sometimes it may not manifest at all.

In the case where people have been fixed in their status quo, a slower integration of healing may be recommended. For example, time can be taken to gradually work through the energy blocks and hidden emotional resistances to healing by exploring potential negative conditioning that may have been applied to the client earlier in their childhood or their soul’s experience.

Steps can also be taken to consistently maintain or increase their vibration and state of being, with weekly follow up or group mentorship sessions. This gives people a chance to share what they are going through and explore how they would feel if their body was truly healed.

A person needs to be in consistently high state of being to maintain healing in the long term. This is why often times they can have such a good session, feeling healed afterwards only to have similar problems come back months later or develop whole new symptoms if there are hidden subconscious blocks to healing.

The Galactic Janitor

Today I had a really hard time training my nanny. It was like I have to train someone from the ground up. I came back from a grocery shopping trip with some canned artichokes and she asked me, “Can you tell me where to put these cans?”
“Where do you think you would put them?” I asked, hoping to see moments of brilliance.
“Er…maybe a good place to put them would be in the fridge?” She replied cautiously.
I think I just wanted to scream.

Later at night I decided to write my Dear Universe Journal and see what my strange mind comes up with:

Dear Universe,

May: I feel so frustrated with my new nanny. How does she not know that you don’t need to put cans in the fridge?
Answer: At least she is working. You just sit around and complain about her.
M: Who is this? (The frequency seem different this time) Who are you?
A: The commander of a Star Vehicle.
M: Why are you chiming in? (This is none of your business…)
A: You have a lot of work to do.
M: What kind of work?
A: Janitorial work.
M: WuuHhhAaaT!!!
A: People call it clearing or cleaning or whatever you do for others.
M: So what am I? Some kind of Galactic Janitor?
A: Yep!
M: Hey! Why can’t I be the commander and YOU come and do some Janitorial work? Huh? Are you smarter and more knowledgeable than me or something?
A: There are no levels and comparisons in this dimension. You CHOSE to be a Galactic Janitor, don’t Blame me!
M: Huh? Am I supposed to clean up after people?
A: You need to clean more than just people! You are not that hard working you know, where are your writing and meditations?
M: I’m cleaning all the time, 24/7, even when I sleep! Give me a break!
A: You can clean better, you need to be more detail oriented when you
M: The pay for a Janitor is not exactly high…
A: No levels remember? Galactic Janitors are very well paid.
M: And what currencies do you use huh? (Still feeling like a brat)
A: You get paid in L…O…V…E! It is the Universal Currency (UC)! It comes directly from the Source and not from your clients. That’s one thing most humans have not figured out yet…
M: What haven’t they figured out?
A: The money don’t always come from clients. They try to get paid in all the wrong ways and find love in all the wrong places. The best way out of the rat race is LOVE! Love that comes directly from Source. I can guarantee that there will be no glass ceiling on that!Pumpkin Carriage
M: Is there a currency exchange place where I can convert the Universal Currency to a locally accepted currency and method of payment?
A: The Universal Currency is accepted at all locations, dimensions, and beyond.
M: Forget about the Galactic Janitorial work, I just want to sit around and watch figure skating!
A: You will have plenty of chances to do THAT! Now get back to work Cinderella!
M: Oh Man!

I guess that is what happens when I complain.

Meeting the Birth Mother

I had a chance to sit down with Business and Marketing Consultant Aaron Cruikshank to talk about something dear to his heart. Aaron was adopted as a little baby. When he in his mid-30s, he began a quest to find his birth mother. This inspirational story allowed me to understand the internal turmoils that many adoptees have knowing that someone had given them up for adoption. In this inspirational video interview, Aaron spoke about the first time he met his birth mother and the one thing he wanted his birth mother to know. This was a emotional interview that brought both Aaron and I to tears:

I don’t have strong opinions about abortions but this interview made me think about all the amazing women out there who chose to bring life into the world even if they could not care for the baby and have the courage of giving their own babies up for adoption — giving people a chance to have a great life, to be useful to society, and to become amazing parents themselves. At the time of this writing, Aaron’s birth mom and parents are about to meet for the first time. This was a very beautiful story that came full circle in the end.

A Mother’s Fear

Forest FireAs my kids continue to gain a sense of the world around them and grow into the wonderful little people that they are, I realized that new challenges arise with my role as their mother. Recently, this conversation happened in the car with my 6 year old son Cedric.

Radio: The massive wild fire in the Northern Alberta city of Fort McMurray continues to rage out of control…destroying much of the city…
Cedric: Mommy, is there a big fire somewhere?
May: Yes, there is a big, massive fire.
Cedric: How big is the fire?
May: The entire city is on fire.
Cedric: I want to be a firefighter and help those people!

I really didn’t know what to say. The protective mother side of myself wished he didn’t really want to be a firefighter because being a firefighter is dangerous. Which mom would want her son throwing himself into danger? I did not encourage him or discourage him except to say “that there are many ways to help people, one of which is being a firefighter”.
At the same time, I also realized that this is a natural disaster that needs many courageous firefighters to protect the people and the most important structures such as the water treatment plant. I can’t figure out if mothers of military personnel and first responders feel about their child putting themselves into danger for a greater good. Would they be proud of their children’s service and dedication? Would they be worried about their safety?

For all the mothers out there, if your child choose to be a firefighter or other kinds of emergency first-responder, would you be worried or proud?

As for now, I have made a $100 donation to the Alberta Fires Emergency Appeal Fund. I hope you will consider making a donation to help these people who lost everything and now relying on our support to get through these hard times.

Lessons From a Sick Pet

Have you ever known someone who had a sick pet? Today I had a intuitive coaching session with a man who is going through a traumatic event of having a very sick pet. Rick’s family have had the loving company their dog Sam for over 10 years. Sam had fell ill with a health issue that would require him to go into surgery at the animal hospital. On top of having to deal with a sick pet, Rick had to deal with the financial pressure of coming up with the $4000 USD to pay for the surgery — money that he didn’t have. This left him with the choice of either finding the money he didn’t have or allow the vet to put his beloved dog Sam to sleep.

Rick had felt very guilty about agonizing over this due to a lack of funds. On one hand, this should be a no brainer, Sam is a part of the family and should be saved at all costs. One the other hand, what do you do when you don’t have the money? Rick felt guilty for even considering the lack of funding as an issue and he felt like a bad provider for his family because he didn’t make enough money or spent too much money. This must be a choice that many experienced pet owners have had to make. Do you spend thousands of dollars to save a pet or do you make the decision to end its life?

It was hard for Rick to chat with me and I offered Rick the possibility of ending our call to go support his beloved dog. I also offered the possibility of helping him connect to his spiritual guidance to see what can be done to help him and his dog in the best way possible. Rick agreed to the possibility of connecting to spiritual guidance. As we began the session, both Rick and I took a moment to quiet our breathing and focus on our breath. Suddenly, the phone call cut off for no reason. Rick did not touch his phone and I didn’t touch mine. I felt nervous, was this a sign that we should not do the session? It was true that Rick was in a bad emotional state and I wondered if this would interfere with his ability to connect to his own spiritual guidance. I also felt pressed for time, previously a session to help a someone connect to spiritual guidance can take anywhere from 90 minutes to 5 hours. Luckily for us, Rick had already experienced a session with me where he was able to connect to his own spiritual guidance / inner wisdom. As I was tuning into the space, I also felt a sense of doubt, perhaps a lost of faith given the severity of Sam’s health. If I was being perfectly honest and authentic, I also had my doubts about whether Rick can get what he needed from our time together.

Rick connected to his inner wisdom easily and effortlessly. The first message Rick got from his spiritual guidance was “No matter what happens, everything is perfect and that there is a lesson to be learned. This does not make him a bad person…The lesson he needed to learn was that nothing is more important than family, love, and fellowship.”

During the session, I received some intuition that I could guide Rick to speak to the spirit of his dog who was about to go into surgery. When Rick connected with the spirit of his dog, he said that Sam’s spirit was shown in the form of a lion. When I asked if Sam’s spirit had something to share with Rick, Rick conveyed this message from Sam, “He wants everyone to know that he loves us and that he feels loved and welcomed by us. He needs to know that he is not a burden on us. This is an opportunity for the family to learn that LOVE is what is truly important right now.”

Rick was able to get further assurances that his family will not be financially ruined by choosing to save Sam and that Rick can find ways of financially supporting his family and his dog. He ended the session feeling calm and relaxed despite the fact that he was still having to deal with the health crisis of his dog and other stressful things associated with his work.

I learned a lot from this session. I admit that I had my doubts on whether Rick can connect successfully to spiritual guidance when he was emotionally upset and stressed. The Universe had shown me that not only was Rick able to connect to his inner wisdom, he connected and got all the support he needed within a short time span of 20 minutes. I realized that no matter how stressful a situation may be, we have the ability to move through challenging experiences with a sense of ease and purpose. We can choose to see possibility instead of fear. We can choose to accept and learn the lessons that are presented to us. The ability to choose possibilities and love in the mists of an emotional storm is an amazing gift to have, especially for people who need to deal with constantly stressful situations. It is a different perspective, one that brings love and insight in the face of chaos.

This leaves me wondering, what if people can see love and possibilities in every challenging situation? Would it be possible for to bring more peace and harmony to our planet if people can choose to view their challenges as lessons they could learn about themselves and how they can best serve others? Will this encourage people to choose love rather than fear?

Money Causes Separation

Money FightEver since I discovered a method to allow clients to connect to the root cause of any issue quickly and effortlessly, I have been doing a lot of work with clients in the areas of love, wealth, and health. It started with my desire to be a coach. Not just any kind of coach, but the kind of coach that could empower and assist clients to tune into their own inner wisdom to find the guidance they need to make choices that are most beneficial to them. At first a few clients were attracted to this work for the purpose of finding love in their lives, then I started getting clients who were interested to find out why they were having issues with money.  I felt like I was quite suited to help people who were looking to create more money in their lives because I was able to create financial abundance for myself by being a co-founder of a software company. However, I realized that a lot of the work I did to create wealth was not in answering questions beginning with the Howsuch as “How can I make more money?” Rather, I did a lot of work around answering questions beginning with the word Why. “Why can’t I make money?” or “Why can’t I keep the money I made?”

After going through the process of creating abundance in my life, I began to realize that the how was not as important as the why.  As I was beginning to venture into my work as a coach, a previous  client contacted me from Japan for a session. During our session together, I asked this client to close her eyes and think about her beliefs around money.  She came up with six major limiting beliefs she had around money. For the purpose of our session together, she had chosen to work with the negative belief: Money causes separation.

Using only guided meditation techniques I have developed, I led her to access events and incidences in her soul’s memory that may have caused her to adopt the limiting belief that money causes separation.

In the first scene, this client remembered a fight she was having with her partner over money as they were talking about the possibility of breaking up.  The client said that her partner never seem to have enough money and this was really bothering her. Issues around money were threatening their relationship.

In the next scene, she saw that she was a small new born baby. Her parents were feeling stressed out about money because her parents were living with her father’s parents and they were expected to provide for the whole extended family while providing for a new born baby. Stressed and anxious, her parents moved out of the family home – which was against the cultural norm at the time.  In this scene, the client had the awareness that money was the main issue why her parents moved away from the extended family. Money caused separation.

I then prompted her to go even further back in time to an event that caused her to believe that money causes separation.  She saw that she was the wife of a samurai who was a very poor money manager.  There were never enough money.  She was so fed up about this she ended up running away from her samurai husband. Again, money caused separation.

In the last scene, I moved her to the very first time something happened that made her construct the belief that money causes separation and tears were streaming down her face.  “I am at Source!” she said.

“What is happening?” I asked.

“It is the moment I am separating from Source!” She said as she was flooded with a wave of emotion.

“What kind of beliefs did not have as you experience this event?” I asked.

“I feel like I am separating from the true source a abundance!” She said.

“Now that you are in the presence of Source, could we ask Source some questions?”

“Dear Source, what would you like to say to her that will help her understand what is happening?” I asked.

“We want her to know that we were NEVER separated. What she was observing as a moment of separation was only an illusion. We are One.” Source responded through the client.

“Could you give her a feeling in her body to show her that you are there with her?” I asked.

“I feel so warm in my heart.” The client said as she brought her hands to the center of her heart with a big smile beaming on her face.

I think I can safely say that the client now has a firm understanding that she was never separated from the true Source of abundance.
